Subconsciously Loving the Animal Print

Hello everybody!
In today's post i will share with you the answer of a big dilemma i had for more than 2 years! Around 2 years ago I did my first overseas trip, where i visited my brother in South Africa. During that trip i had to visit the local fabric shop, so i went and bought a beautiful leopard print knit, at that moment i loved it because for me that print meant that beautiful country. Anyway, to not make a long story, when i arrived home i lost the fabric, and a couple of weeks ago it appeared on my closet. That's where the dilemma began because i didn't know what to make with it.
Last week i pushed myself to finally design and make a piece that i could wear for fall and winter with different outfits. This is how it turned out!
(It seems that subconsciously I'm a big fan of the leopard print)

This is the little sketch i drew before sew the piece./ Este el pequeño boceto que dibujé antes de confeccionar la prenda.
I paired the print with fall-ish colors like this burgundy hat./ Combiné el animal print con colores de otoño como este sombrero burgundy.

Complete look!/ Look completo!
Denim works perfectly with the print, I chose to wear bell bottoms to give it a bohemian vibe./ La mezclilla funciona perfectamente con el estampado, yo elegí uno pantalones acampanados para darle un toque bohemio.
I love the necklace layering trend! I chose gold jewelry for the look!/ Me encanta la tendencia de combinar diferente collares! Elegí joyería dorada para este look!
The boxier, the better! I made the blouse super baggy to be comfy wearing it!/ Entre más holgado, mejor!
No look is complete without a cute shoulder bag! I love how this beige/pearl mini bag goes perfectly with the outfit!./ Ningún look esta completo sin un lindo bolso!

  3. That top was so well designed. The print is striking. I love your hat and it looks great matched against the impact of the animal print top.
